Application Process: Transfer Students

Transfer students who have submitted their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) by the SIR deadline of June 1 shall receive an offer to live in Student Housing.

Upon receipt of the housing offer, transfer students may apply for housing. NOTE: students may not apply for housing until they receive a housing offer.

To apply:

  1. Go to MyAdmissions.ucdavis.edu
    1. Log in and click on the Housing Application Request link to begin the application
    2. Select a housing option: Residence Halls (pdf) or Single Student Apartments (pdf)
    3. On the subsequent pages, verify the supplied information
    4. Read Contract Information (pdf) (also accessible in the left column of the application page "Terms of Use")
      • NOTE: although Contract Information is written specifically for the residence halls, Single Student Apartment residents will have access to most Student Housing programs addressed in the Contract Information document; certain policies may be superceded by the Guide to Single Student Apartments and/or Apartment-specific regulations
  2. Read all information and agree to the Terms of Use
    1. Complete the application by midnight PST, Friday, June 26, 2009
    2. Review and accept the Residence Hall Contract and Conditions of Contract
  3. Pay the reservation fee and sign the contract
    1. The reservation fee may be paid and the contract electronically signed in the online application
    2. Students under age 18 must have a parent or guardian electronically sign the application

NOTE: Students who complete the application after the deadline will be offered housing on a space available basis.
