Room Vacate Instructions - Room Transfers and Cancellations

If you are transferring to another room or moving out of the residence halls because your contract has been cancelled, you are required to remove all of your belongings and to clean your part of the room prior to vacating. Please carefully read and follow the instructions listed below. Failure to follow these instructions will result in a $75.00 charge for an improper checkout and any other applicable charges (cleaning, repairs, lock change etc).

Microwave and/or Refrigerator

If you have rented an appliance from ASUCD call 752-1990 to arrange the return.

Provide U.S. Forwarding Address in SISWEB

Update your mailing address in SISWEB. Your Area Service Desk will forward any United States Postal Service mail/packages to you, if you provide a valid United States address. Please note that mail/packages from other carriers (Amazon, UPS, FedEx, etc.) cannot be forwarded and will be returned to the sender. International forwarding is not available.

Room Key (if applicable)

Return your room key to the Area Service Desk. Failure to do so will result in a $50.00 charge.

Electronic Room Door Lock (if applicable)

Bring your student ID card to the Area Service Desk when you vacate your room to have the electronic door information removed.

Please complete all of the above items. Go to your Area Service Desk no later than 10pm on your effective vacate date. Failure to follow these instructions will result in a $75.00 charge for an improper checkout and any other applicable charges (cleaning, repairs, lock changes, etc.)
