Student Housing Tours
Prospective residents and their families may tour the Student Housing facilities throughout both the academic year and the summer.
Academic Year Tours
Guided tours are available at 12pm, Monday through Friday from mid-October through early-June of each Academic Year. Student staff guides visitors on a 30-45 minute tour of select Tercero area residence halls, the Academic Advising Center, Computer Center, and dining commons.
Tours are coordinated through UC Davis Visitor Services and must be scheduled in conjunction with a Week Day Family Walking Tour.
Tours are not available during university-observed holidays, finals weeks, or scheduled academic breaks. Contact UC Davis Visitor Services to schedule a tour; they will coordinate the tour schedule with Student Housing.
Summer Tours
Self-guided residence hall room tours are available from mid-June through mid-September. Room tours are available seven days a week from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. All visitors must check in at Segundo Area Service Desk in the Segundo area before beginning a tour. Reservations are not necessary.
Virtual Tours
Virtual tours and photo slide shows are available for select housing areas. To view a virtual tour or slide show, navigate to the Housing Areas section, select one of the Student Housing Areas and Buildings options, and navigate to any available Photos link.
A Student Housing video is available online, both in its entirety and broken up by feature. The video features the three residence hall areas, and includes footage of rooms, public spaces, and service areas including Academic Advising Centers. The video also features Orchard Park and Solano Park apartments and Student Housing Apartments.
