Changing Meal Plans

Residence hall and Student Housing Apartment (SHA) students may change their meal plans at specific times during the year to better serve their dietary needs and schedule.

Meal Plan Change Periods

Meal plans can be changed during scheduled meal plan change periods:

  • Before move-in weekend
  • December 1–January 1
  • February 15–March 15

SHA students who want to purchase additional meals outside of a meal plan change period should consider purchasing "Meal Blocks" (see below for purchasing information).

How to Change a Meal Plan

To change a meal plan or Aggie Cash plan, go to the MyUCDavis portal and click the “meal plan change” link under “View My Information” on the myHousing tile.

How to Purchase Meal Blocks

To purchase Meal Blocks, visit any dining commons location or the Meal Card Office. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Segundo Services Center. Purchases may also be made by telephone at 530-752-6335.
