  • Irrigation based on computer system that accounts for current conditions
  • Water efficient sprinkler heads that reduce run-off
  • Sub-surface turf irrigation
  • Bio-swells collect rainwater for landscaping
  • Mulch used to keep moisture in the ground

What You Can Do in the Residence Halls

  • Take shorter showers
  • Turn off the faucet when not using the water (i.e. while brushing your teeth)
  • Use the washing machine for full loads only
  • Don't use the toilet as a wastebasket
  • Report leaks using Student Housing's online Service Request service
