We offer extensive, full-service event coordination for all occasions, including crafting a multi-day conference menu or an elegant reception dinner. We can also give you more flexibility with packaged meal deliveries. We promise to work hard to ensure your experience is smooth, your menu delicious and your guests filled with joy.

Meet Our Executive Chef

Growing up in Mexicali, Mexico, Chef Cesar developed a passion for bold flavors and bright contrast in food. In a city well known for its street food and renowned for its deep-rooted Chinese culinary history, Cesar was influenced from an early age to investigate the endless possibilities of flavor.
A mission he still pursues now as Executive Chef for Olive and Vine Catering by UC Davis and with every other culinary adventure, from cooking for Margaret Mondavi, the Tower Bridge Dinner, collaborating with the Food Science RMI Labs or running his own catering group. Chef Cesar has also worked with several local farms in collaboration to develop sustainable menus for special events and recipe writing with James Beard award winner Georgeanna Brennan.
He has cooked professionally for 17 years, with 8 of those years as a chef and 13 of those years at UC Davis. His favorite type of food to prepare is Mexican and Korean cuisines, and his guilty pleasure food is fruit loops. Outside of work, he loves making fermented drinks, brewing coffee and gifting it to family and friends.
