Tercero North (Phase 3) Water Intrusion Project

Tercero North (Phase 3) opened in fall 2014 and is comprised of seven residence halls: Pine, Scrub Oak, Currant, Live Oak, Sequoia, Hawthorn and Mahogany Halls.

Due to water intrusion issues, Student Housing and Dining Services has been replacing the windows in all seven Tercero North residence hall buildings. This project spans over several years, as each residence hall must be unoccupied to perform the work.

Work on Pine, Scrub Oak and Currant Halls has been completed. Live Oak was taken offline following the 2020-2021 academic year to complete this project, and Hawthorn Hall work was performed June–September 2021; both Live Oak and Hawthorn reopened in September 2021. Mahogany Hall is scheduled for work May–September 2022 and to reopen September 2022.

Work for the remaining residence hall, Sequoia Hall, will be performed during summer 2023.
