Free and Discounted Software

UC Davis offers Free or Discounted Software to its students and employees through MyUCDavis. The software offered ranges from Ad-Aware to MatLab and covers a wide range of educational and computer security needs. Many classes will require programs that are downloadable from the free software online.

To download the software please follow these instructions.

  1. Go to MyUCDavis
  2. Click on Resources on the main menu and then click on the Software link
  3. On the side of the window is a list of all the software available through UC Davis IET (Note: not all software is available in all platforms (e.g., Windows, Mac, Unix))

UC Davis also offers discounted software to students through the UC Davis Bookstore, including Microsoft and Adobe products, SAS, and JMP. Additionally, students can visit eAcademy to purchase discounted Microsoft products through our campus Microsoft Select agreement and other software for personal and academic use.
