Moving Out of Orchard Park Housing

Moove-out varies based upon whether you are on a contract (Undergrad Housing) or on a lease (Family/Grad Housing). Moove-Out information will be emailed to you, with a reminder of your Moove-Out date prior to the end of your contract or lease. Students must completely vacate their apartments by 4 PM at the end of their contract or lease:

  • End of Contract is June 30.
  • End of Lease is either July 22 or August 22 based on the lease you have signed.

Preparing for Moove-Out

  • Schedule your Moove-Out appointment through your myHousing Portal. Appointments are available daily during the last month of your contract/lease.
  • Submit maintenance requests for anything damaged in the apartment either through your Orchard Park Resident portal or by email: orchardpark@tmo.com.
  • Follow the APARTMENT CLEANING GUIDELINES CHECKLIST & FAQ.docx.
  • Mail and Packages: please pick up any mail/packages in advance of moving out and:
    • Don't forget to submit a forwarding address with USPS and update your address for future orders including any online companies such as Amazon, Target, etc.
    • Update your address for future orders on the Student Self-Service portal to a valid U.S. address.
    • Once you've moved out, any mail/packages we receive will be returned to sender.

Moove-Out Appointment Options

  • Option 1: Monday through Friday 9 AM–4 PM:
    • Visit the Orchard Park office to check out and drop off your keys directly to one of our staff members onsite. Envelopes will be provided to place your keys in and provide your student information.
  • Option 2: Evenings and Weekends:
    • Visit either of the Community Centers to return your keys to the Key Drop Box. Each key drop has instructions and materials to label a key packet that you can place your keys in before dropping them in the chute. Be sure to fill out the key packet completely!
