Campus Resources: Counseling and Community Support

University life challenges many students. Academic, personal and financial burdens can overwhelm students, especially those who are living away from home for the first time, but rest assured, many students have similar experiences, and UC Davis provides a variety of resources and support services. Please utilize these resources before letting an issue develop into a crisis.

For students who are struggling academically, teaching assistants, professors, and advisors are available within your major's college to offer advice and provide additional resources. Consider being proactive and get to know them rather than waiting until an academic emergency.
