Student Housing Tours
Prospective residents and their families may tour the Student Housing facilities during the academic year and the summer.
Summer Tours
June 24–September 14, 2024
Guided residence hall tours are provided in the Tercero area Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–12:30 PM, and Saturdays, 1–2 PM. Tours are not available during university-observed holidays.
How to Schedule A Summer Room Tour
Reservations are not required. Simply arrive during the times listed above and check in at the Tercero Area Service Desk at the Tercero Services Center to join a tour.
NOTE: Not all areas or types of rooms are available to tour.
Academic Year Tours
Student staff guides visitors on a general tour of one of the Tercero residence halls, the Residential Academic Center, Computer Center, and dining commons.
Guided tours are provided 6 days a week from mid-October through early-June of each Academic Year. Tours are at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday and at 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Additionally, tours will be available on Sundays from mid-October through mid-November, and from mid-March through late-April.
How to Schedule An Academic Year Tour
Tours are coordinated through UC Davis Visitor Services. Contact UC Davis Visitor Services to schedule a tour; Visitor Services will coordinate the tour schedule with Student Housing. Residence hall tours must be scheduled in conjunction with a Prospective Student/Family Walking Tour.
Tours are not available during university-observed holidays, finals weeks, or scheduled academic breaks. Visit the Visitor Services website for the full tour schedule.
