Wait Times in Latitude

Latitude is one of our most popular on-campus restaurants and loved for its focus on global cuisines. Want to be able to check how busy it is before getting there? With the new Waitz app, we've got you covered.

Current Wait Times

Look below to see how busy Latitude is or download the app on your phone.

How We Estimate Crowds

We use Waitz to report how many people are in Latitude. Waitz uses custom IoT sensors that scan for radio signals (Bluetooth and Wifi) in an area. Scans pick up laptops, cell phones, wearables and other connected devices. Waitz analyzes the signals to estimate the number of people in the space in real time.

Privacy Is Protected

Scans see the MAC address of all devices in the area, which are immediately hashed on the device. This means that no one, ourselves included, can view specific MAC address information, protecting the privacy of individuals.
