Frequently Asked Questions - Moving Into The Green

Fall Quarter 2025

Moove-In Dates and Appointments

What are the Moove-In dates and details?

Moove-in dates and times are by appointment only. Students will select their moove-in appointment through the myHousing Portal. Scheduled dates are September 2 and 12. No after hour or weekend appointments will be available.

What if I cannot move in on this date(s)?

Students who cannot move in during their scheduled appointment need to contact Student Housing and Dining Services by email. Moove-in will be done by appointment only.

If students need accommodations, cannot move in during their scheduled appointment, or if their Moove-In date conflicts with the observance of a religious holiday(s), they are encouraged to contact the Student Housing and Dining Services by email.

Students should contact Student Housing and Dining Services if they plan to arrive after their official Moove-In days to schedule a late Moove-In appointment. Keep in mind that the contract begins on the date the room is available, regardless of when they arrive. Students should also inform their roommate(s) if they will arrive late.

What do I need to Check-In during Moove-In?

Please bring your Moove-In Barcode via the myHousing portal and a form of picture ID with you to check-in. *Reminder: Moove-In Appointments are required.

Where do I check in?

Refer to the map for your location for check-in information. Links to move-in maps are located on The Green move-in webpage.

Will I need a parking permit for moove-in days?

Yes, students are advised to only bring one vehicle and will be issued one permit for 60-minutes to unload in designated Unloading Zones (refer to the map).

Where do I park after my Unloading Zone time is up?

Once your Unloading Zone time is up, you need to move your vehicle to extended parking ("Park After Unloading" - refer to map) to allow for space and to avoid any potential enforcement and citations.

Designated Parking Permit:

*Due to limited parking space availability at The Green, if you have a permanent designated parking permit, please note, parking enforcement will start in October. Students will need to park in spaces NOT designated as a Moove-In parking (refer to map) after their Unloading Zone time has expired.

Room Information

Something is not clean, is broken/does not work and/or is missing from my room. How can I get this taken care of?

During Moove-In, please report all room damages, missing items or unclean areas to staff in the Community Center. Maintenance staff will be available to address concerns.

Furniture issues should be emailed to TheGreen@TMO.com.

Every resident must fill out a Room Condition form. The Room Condition form link will be emailed to you prior to check-in and should be completed by October 1.

When can I change rooms?

Room transfers are not available.

What if I want to move my furniture?
