There is one mailbox for each room. Laben Hall's mailboxes are located on the first floor of the Tercero Services Center, by the Area Service Desk.
Packages that do not fit in a mailbox are held at the Area Service Desk. The ASD staff will notify residents via email when they receive a package that needs to be picked up.

Robert Laben
Professor Emeritus of Animal Science

Retired: 1986
Deceased: 2005
During his 36 years as an active member of the faculty, Professor Laben was a highly regarded teacher and one of the most respected undergraduate advisers on campus. In addition to an excellent teaching record, Professor Laben made truly outstanding contributions to undergraduate students as an adviser. For 17 years he was Master Adviser in Animal Science. His open door policy and genuine concern for students were widely known and appreciated. His department continues to hear from alumni who speak of the very positive influence Professor Laben had on the quality of their education at Davis. After retirement, he continued his interest in and support for undergraduate students. He served as a member of the Animal Science Department's Memorial Fund committee, which supports undergraduate student activities. In recognition of his contributions, the department named an undergraduate scholarship in his honor. He was a caring and accomplished professional and a generous contributor to funds supporting students.
